The highest paid jobs in Hungary revealed

Data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) revealed that the highest paying job in Hungary is in Csongrád county

The highest paid wages for jobs in Hungary have been revealed. Data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) revealed that the highest paying job is in Csongrád county.

According to mfor.hu, the high wages are due to the oil and natural gas fields located in the southern part of the country.

Statistics show that people working in the power generating industry earn the most in the whole of Hungary.

Based on the numbers from the first three quarters of 2017, people working in the quarrying and mining industry in Csongrád county earn an average gross wage of 590,211 HUF per month.

The second highest paying jobs can be found in Tolna county, where the Paks Nuclear Power Plant is located. Here, people working in the electrical industry have a gross wage of 532,012 HUF.

The third highest paying jobs are located in Békés county, which has a flourishing electrical industry and people earn 457,133 HUF on average.

Pest county finished fourth on the list. People working in the electrical business in Pest earn an average gross wage of 446,134 HUF. MOL’s oil refinery is located in Százhalombatta and accounts for the high wages there.
