The Hungarian government has set up a call center to provide accurate and up-to-date information to citizens on the coronavirus.
According to MTI, the government’s operative board is monitoring healthcare and epidemiological data on the coronavirus outbreak and will help provide updated information to the public.
The interior ministry has stressed that there are no signs of the virus being present in Hungary at present.
Employees of the interior, defense and foreign ministries, the human resources ministry, the innovation and technology ministry, the national public health center, the disaster management center and the crime analysis center are cooperating to provide verified information via email and a 24-hour phone hotline.
