Hungary guest of honor at 13th China Henan Investment and Trade Fair

The most promising sectors for cooperation between Hungary and Henan province are agriculture, the food industry, water management, car manufacturing and the health industry

Hungary is guest of honor at the 13th China Henan Investment and Trade Fair which runs between April 8th and 11th in Zhengzhou, China.

István Joó, deputy state secretary of the foreign ministry and leader of the Hungarian delegation to the fair, revealed that the Hungarian exhibition will focus on showcasing Hungarian innovation and the economic environment offered to investors.

According to MTI, the pavilion will also offer Hungarian wines, food and champagne specialties. The fair is expected to draw some 20,000 visitors from 89 countries.

Trade between China and Hungary rose by 10 percent to nearly 9 billion dollars in 2018. To Henan province, Hungary exports mostly products and services connected to the car manufacturing industry and the health and chemical industry.
