The Hungarian government has sent HUF 20 million (EUR 57,000) worth of swift aid to the Czech Republic’s South Moravia region hit by a deadly tornado.
The prime minister’s office said the aid is provided in partnership with the Hungarian Ecumenical Charity and contains humanitarian supplies and material to help rebuild an elderly care home and a church in the village of Hrusky. Meanwhile, the Hungarian Reformed Charity has dispatched a team of seven experts to help rescue operations. The team is also taking humanitarian aid to the region.
