PM Orbán: Retaking Brussels from George Soros is key

The prime minister said the "key to the future" is the European parliamentary opposition Patriots' gaining a majority in the foreseeable future.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Friday that the "key to the future" is the European parliamentary opposition Patriots' gaining a majority in the foreseeable future, adding that "the question is if we can retake Brussels from George Soros".

Speaking on public radio, PM Orbán said "the liberal philosophy and world view, a mighty network and global power embodied by the Soros empire, has no longer room in America, it only has Brussels on its hands ... but it has a grip on Brussels and it will pull back here."

PM Orbán said, however, that "the Patriots are gaining strength by the day ... this is a great battle and I am optimistic".
