The foreign minister of Luxembourg “hates Hungary”, according to Péter Szijjártó, minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
According to MTI, the Hungarian foreign minister called Jean Asselborn a “pro-migration politician” and insisted that his counterpart was “playing the music of George Soros“.
“They would flood Europe with migrants; they are extreme liberals with unacceptable views,” Minister Szijjártó said.
Earlier in the day, Asselborn had voiced his objections to the Hungarian government’s “Stop Soros” draft package in the online publication of Der Tagesspiegel, and called for activation of the EU Treaty’s Article 7 against the country.
Minister Szijjártó said Asselborn is “dull while Hungarians are not, and they don’t need his nonsense to know what is good for them.”
