Following a succession of overcrowded flights in recent months, Wizz Air has announced that it will increase the number of direct flights on some of its routes.
The number of direct flights from Budapest to Dubai will increase to seven per week in the 2019/20 winter season.
Starting from October 27th, passengers can catch a plane to the United Arab Emirates on any day of the week.
“Dubai has become one of the top winter tourist destinations in the past few years. Wizz Air is adamant on delivering a summer experience in winter to Hungarian clients: and we are going to do that every day from now on," said András Radó, Wizz Air communications director.
"Since introducing the Dubai flight in 2013, its popularity has not faltered in Hungary. We are proud of being able to fly our clients to one of the most modern cities in the Arabic world while providing top notch airplanes with the highest quality services onboard. All that, naturally, while keeping it all very cheap," he added.
Wizz Air’s announcement comes amid a surge in tourist activity both at home and abroad. A number of flight routes are expanding and Hungary has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
