The prime minister suggested that Ukraine put forward an action plan that would be beneficial for Ukraine’s negotiations in the EU accession process as well as for the Hungarian minority.
Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Hungary for its humanitarian support for Ukraine, underlining that he believed that saving lives was the most important consideration.
The prime minister wished Ukraine success and said he had come to Kyiv to achieve progress in bilateral ties.

The recent meeting between Ukrainian President Zelensky and Pope Francis in Rome on Saturday was widely recognized as a good opportunity for Ukraine to take steps toward peace with the Vatican’s help.
Minister Szijjártó responded to recent remarks by Volodymyr Zelensky stating that “Hungary’s behavior as a NATO member is inappropriate”.
“From what the Ukrainian president said, it’s clear this war will drag on. We can’t count on it ending soon,” PM Orban said, adding that Hungary would continue to aid Ukrainians by humanitarian means but “we won’t deliver weapons”.
