Minister Szijjártó responded to recent remarks by Volodymyr Zelensky stating that “Hungary’s behavior as a NATO member is inappropriate”.
“From what the Ukrainian president said, it’s clear this war will drag on. We can’t count on it ending soon,” PM Orban said, adding that Hungary would continue to aid Ukrainians by humanitarian means but “we won’t deliver weapons”.
Their discussion focused on Ukraine’s bid to join the European Union and Hungary’s welcoming of war refugees.
