The total number of vaccinated people is 6,406,501, of which 6,192,643 have already received their second dose and 3,863,124 and 287,080 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 1,384 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,901,017. The 12 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 46,201. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,804,295, while the number of active infected people is 50,521. 1,427 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 41 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,339,446 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
