The total number of vaccinated people is 6,406,150, of which 6,192,142 have already received their second dose and 3,861,353 and 285,137 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 1,399 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,895,677. The 32 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 46,133. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,792,616, while the number of active infected people is 56,928. 1,499 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 37 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,317,807 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
