The total number of vaccinated people is 6,406,412, of which 6,192,470 have already received their second dose and 3,862,707 and 286,455 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 1,736 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,899,633. The 27 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 46,189. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,801,813, while the number of active infected people is 51,631. 1,437 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 36 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,331,451 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
