1 p.m.: Hungarians continue to turn out in large numbers

According to the National Elections Office, 42.32 percent of Hungarians voted by 1 p.m.

A little more than 3.3 million voters have already cast their ballots six hours before the polling stations close at 7 p.m. The highest turnout was reported in Budapest, where the figure stood at 45.52 percent. Pest county came a close second with 45 percent, while in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County 37.7 percent of eligible voters have gone to the voting booths.
