According to the national police headquarters (ORFK), 6,125 people crossed into Hungary directly from Ukraine on Sunday, while another 7,638 from Ukraine crossed from Romania. Police issued temporary residence permits valid for 30 days to 232 people. Holders of such permits must contact a local immigration office near their place of residence within 30 days to apply for permanent documents. Budapest police received 182 refugees, 71 children among them, arriving by train.
