The total number of vaccinated people is 6,292,759, of which 6,027,578 have already received their second vaccination and 3,286,577 have already received their third vaccination. Children between the age of 5 and 11 can now get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
A total of 14,655 new infections have been confirmed in the last three days, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,297,612. The 167 deaths in the last three days were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 39,947. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,145,770, while the number of active infected people is 111,895. 2,931 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 281 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 9,358,739 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
