The total number of vaccinated people is 6,407,042, of which 6,193,238 have already received their second dose and 3,865,508 and 289,852 have received their third dose and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 2,183 new infections have been confirmed in the last three days, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,903,200. The 65 deaths in the last three days were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 46,266. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,808,061, while the number of active infected people is 48,873. 1,310 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 40 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,355,642 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
In view of the favourable epidemiological situation, data will be published weekly from May onwards, with the next release next week.
