The total number of vaccinated people is 6,406,339, of which 6,192,374 have already received their second dose and 3,862,446 and 285,987 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 2,220 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,897,897. The 29 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 46,162. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,797,144, while the number of active infected people is 54,591. 1,451 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 38 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,324,260 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
