The total number of vaccinated people is 6,404,687, of which 6,190,310 have already received their second dose and 3,854,775 and 277,168 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 2,534 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,879,480. The 27 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 45,865. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,748,707, while the number of active infected people is 84,908. 1,648 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 50 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,244,573 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
