The total number of vaccinated people is is 6,404,541, of which 6,190,140 have already received their second dose and 3,854,092 and 276,208 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 2,740 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,876,946. The 26 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 45,838. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,742,051, while the number of active infected people is 89,057. 1,717 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 47 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,233,362 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
