The total number of vaccinated people is 6,405,342, of which 6,191,154 have already received their second dose and 3,857,876 and 280,159 have received their third and fourth dose, respectively.
A total of 3,041 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,888,906. The 24 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 46,024. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,770,066, while the number of active infected people is 72,816. 1,500 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 48 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,285,527 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
