The total number of vaccinated people is 6,245,773, of which 5,957,571 have already received their second vaccination and 3,136,000 have already received their third vaccination. Children between the age of 5 and 11 can now get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
A total of 3,586 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,237,330. The 140 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 38,307. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,071,772, while the number of active infected people is 127,251. 4,827 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 454 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 9,058,668 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
