The total number of vaccinated people is 6,294,707, of which 6,033,675 have already received their second vaccination and 3,292,175 have already received their third vaccination. Children between the age of 5 and 11 can now get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
A total of 3,882 new infections have been confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of infected persons identified since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,300,994. The 69 deaths yesterday were mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the total number of deaths to 40,016. The number of recovered people continues to increase and now stands at 1,147,818, while the number of active infected people is 113,160. 2,932 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of whom 274 are on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 9,367,973 coronavirus tests have been performed in Hungary.
