The National Heritage Institute has announced that only close friends and family will be able to attend Andy Vajna’s memorial service in Budapest.
“We hereby inform the public and the press that at the request of his family, András György Vajna, the government commissioner’s memorial service will be held in private,” the Institute stated, also asking the press to respect the requests of the grieving family.
The Hungarian film producer’s best and closest friend Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly giving a speech at Vajna’s funeral to commemorate his life and work in the film industry.
The service will take place at the Fiumei Cemetery in Budapest. Representatives of the Hungarian government and several big names from the film industry are due to attend.
