As part of the Budapest Spring Festival, this year's Pont Festival will focus on the Balkan region.
The 2019 event will be held in the Castle Garden Bazaar between April 12-14th.
Fulfilling the criteria of the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, the aim of the festival is to introduce different exciting parts of the world through exhibitions, films, concerts and artisan programs.
Visitors can meet with different types of traditional Busó (people wearing traditional masks to scare away the winter) from the region and get acquainted with music and dance culture from the region.
