Hungarians up and down the country have hit the shops today to grab a bargain in the Black Friday sales.
The annual event has seen Hungarians become more and more interested in the global phenomena year-on-year.
Last year, almost half of Hungarians took part in Black Friday sales, a 44 percent increase on 2017, and this year is set to be even bigger!
On average, Hungarians spend HUF 47,380 on Black Friday sales, with fashion, electronics and shoes topping the list of the most sought-after products.
The average Black Friday discount rate is 55 percent, with an average Hungarian saving of HUF 57,909 per shopping trip.
