The Budapest 2024 Olympic Committee has unveiled a whole host of visualizations depicting what the city will look like if it hosts the Games.
The images show how prime locations will house different sporting disciplines. The Olympic Stadium and Csepel Island, Budapest’s new bridge, the Olympic village, the Puskás Ferenc Stadium and its neighborhood have all been transformed.
Budapest 2024 says "the visuals are amazing", while Balázs Fürjes, head of Budapest’s Olympic bid, told 24.hu that “we can achieve great successes with hard work” and that they’ll prove that “we can make more out of ourselves than we thought previously”.
On the offical facebook page it states that these designs make sure the whole world gets to see the beauty of Budapest. And what’s especially important: architects kept sustainability in mind throughout the designing process. So the whole county could enjoy the advantages of the locations after the Olympic Games.
