Liszt Ferenc Airport in Budapest has won the Skytrax best Eastern European airport award based on customer satisfaction ratings.
Liszt Ferenc Airport was placed first among Eastern European airports in Skytrax's World Airport Awards, with the Estonian capital, Tallinn's airport ranked second and Kiev's Boryspil airport coming in third.
According to Rmx.news, the Budapest airport was also the first in the region to win the award six times in a row.
Globally, the world's best airport is Singapore's Changi, for the seventh year running. Asian airports dominate the world rankings, with six of the world's ten best airports situated there. Tokyo's Haneda airport is second, Seoul's Incheon airport third.
The highest ranking on the global list by a European airport went to Munich (7th), followed by London Heathrow in eighth place.
