FINA has announced seven national associations - including Budapest - that are interested in hosting the 2025 and 2027 FINA World Championships
According to FINA’s newsletter, Melbourne, Budapest, Kazan, Belgrade, Greensboro, China and Ukraine with other cities to be named later, have indicated their interest before the Monday deadline.
Representatives of the organization will meet with candidate cities in Lausanne where FINA will hand over the documents containing the exact terms of the application.
Subsequently, the federations will be able to submit their official application by June 17th, and the FINA Executive Board will decide on the site on July 11th.
