Budapest to play host to North Americans with Hungarian heritage on annual education program

According to ReConnect Hungary, the program is for those "who want to strengthen their personal Hungarian identity through connection to the country, culture and heritage"

Budapest will play host to 25 Americans and Canadians with Hungarian heritage on June 18th for the annual ReConnect Hungary birthright trip.

The two-week cultural and educational program is open to young adults aged between 18-28 based in the US or Canada with Hungarian ancestry.

According to the ReConnect website, the program is for those "who want to strengthen their personal Hungarian identity through connection to the country, culture and heritage".

Organized by the Hungarian Human Rights Foundation, the program covers roundtrip airfare between New York and Budapest plus accommodation, as well as two weeks of programs, which include educational lectures, meetings with business leaders and visits to government offices and cultural attractions.
