Hungary’s Chief Security Advisor has said the new Balkan migrant route could bring about a serious situation in the region that has major consequences.
According to Kormany.hu, György Bakondi also spoke about the fact that previously, the liberal countries were only attacking countries that were protecting against illegal migration and that were defending Europe’s external borders.
“They are now also attacking Frontex, whose latest report states that illegal immigration is on the increase, with over ten thousand illegal immigrants arriving in the European Union in July,” he added.
The Chief Security Advisor explained that in the year prior to the European Parliament elections, even countries that had previously been accepting large umbers of illegal immigrants had come to realize that the external borders must be protected, and illegal migration must be put to an end.
