Even more Hungarian citizens have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing the confirmed number of cases in Hungary to 2.284. Meanwhile, 390 have so far recovered from the disease.
Hungary is now in the period of cluster infections, when the virus spreads via social interaction. The disease can therefore be present anywhere. It’s vital for everyone to stay home and observe the recommendations and movement restrictions, especially elderly people, students and those who have returned from abroad.
The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 2,284. In compulsory home quarantine: 10,942. Recovered: 390. Deceased: 239.
Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller revealed yesterday that, in line with the government’s decision, 50 percent of all hospital beds have been successfully freed up ready for the peak.
