It’s still vital for everyone to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and cover their face in shops and on public transport. It is recommended to stay at home and observe the rules and recommendations, especially elderly people, students, and those who have returned from abroad.
During yesterday’s Operational Group press conference, Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller announced that the coronavirus epidemic is now on a downward trend in Hungary.
“Our epidemic curve has been trending downwards for 10 days now, the epidemic is fading away,” Müller said. “We are constantly analyzing foreign and domestic data and we strive to make Hungarian data comparable with other countries in the world in order to prepare for the next wave,” she added.
