The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 4,039. In compulsory home quarantine: 9,167. Recovered: 2,391. Deceased: 553.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 1,095. The results show that 41 percent of those infected, 59 percent of the deceased, and 48 percent of those recovered live in Budapest. There are currently 321 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus, 19 of whom are on ventilators.
It’s still vital for everyone to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and cover their face in shops and on public transport. It is recommended to stay at home and observe the rules and recommendations, especially elderly people, students, and those who have returned from abroad.
During yesterday’s Operational Group press conference, Róbert Kiss, Lieutenant Colonel of the Hungarian Police Force, said Hungarian citizens will be able to enter Hungary from Croatia without compulsory home quarantine from Friday.
