Even more Hungarian citizens have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing the confirmed number of cases in Hungary to 1,579. Meanwhile, 192 have so far recovered from the disease.
Cecília Müller, Hungary’s Chief Medical Officer, reported yesterday on the current data regarding the coronavirus in Hungary. “All medication that is used to relieve symptoms is available,” she said, adding that “the protection of healthcare workers is very important, as the epidemic is showing rising trends.”
Hungary is now in the period of cluster infections, when the virus spreads via social interaction. The disease can therefore be present anywhere. It’s vital for everyone to stay home and observe the recommendations and movement restrictions, especially elderly people, students and those who have returned from abroad.
The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 1,579. In compulsory home quarantine: 13,360. Recovered: 192. Deceased: 134.
Only together can we slow down the epidemic and flatten the curve.
