People using public transport in Budapest will have to wear a face mask or cover their face with a scarf as of April 27, except minors under the age of six.

The municipal regulations on masks will also apply to people while shopping in stores or markets and travelling in a taxi.

The obligation will, however, not apply to people who have a disease that physically prevents them from wearing a mask, and those having an asthma or a hard time breathing.
