Outdoor cultural and sporting events can now be held, and restaurants and hotels can reopen across Hungary. However, social distancing must remain in place.
At today’s Operational Group press conference, Róbert Kiss, Lieutenant Colonel of the Hungarian Police Force, announced that a new phase of protection measures will enter into force in Budapest tomorrow. “This means, people can consume food and drink inside restaurants and hotels can reopen,” he said.
Outdoor sporting and cultural events can also be held, and outdoor exhibitions in national parks can be visited. “The safety distance must be kept everywhere,” he said. Kiss also drew attention to the fact that it is still forbidden to take part in or organize music or dance events in indoor venues.
