Design Terminal has launched a two-year program to help connect start-ups and SMEs developing innovations in the CEE region with western European markets.
The innovation agency’s “X-Europe" program will offer training, mentoring and the possibility of building ties with prospective investors. It will also help broaden the media coverage of its participants.
The agency’s director, Gergely Böszörményi-Nagy said the program will be launched in January in partnership with The Next Web, based in The Netherlands, with events taking place in Budapest, Amsterdam and Riga.
Organizers expect to mobilize around 1,500 start-ups, of which 150 are eligible to participate actively in the program. The aim is to create innovation “value-chains” at a European level and to integrate innovative solutions in the region.
