Government lowers flat owner approval threshold for solar panel investments

Hungary’s government has rolled out a number of measures recently that aim to cushion the country against the impact of a looming winter energy crisis in Europe.

The Hungarian government has lowered the flat owner approval threshold for solar panel investments on buildings with multiple dwellings from 100 percent to 75 percent. The decree affecting the measure was initiated by Fidesz’s Budapest head, Zsolt Láng, who is also the government commissioner in charge of economic developments in Central Hungary. Hungary’s government has rolled out a number of measures recently that aim to cushion the country against the impact of a looming winter energy crisis in Europe.
