Gergely Gulyás, Head of the Prime Minister's Office, cited Finance Minister Mihály Varga as saying the 2025 budget is the "new economic policy budget".
At a weekly press briefing on Thursday, Gulyás said the continuation of wage increases, support for affordable housing, the Demjan Sandor Programme for strengthening SMEs, the doubling of tax allowances for families raising children and pension rises were important elements of the budget.
