Győr to expand industrial park using government grant

Mayor Csaba András Dézsi said the industrial park was effectively full to capacity and its expansion would be important for the development of the local economy.

Mayor Csaba András Dézsi has announced that the city of Győr, in north-western Hungary, will expand its industrial park using a HUF 10 billion (EUR 28.3m) government grant.

According to MTI, Dézsi said the industrial park was effectively full to capacity and its expansion would be important for the development of the local economy. There are currently more than 100 businesses from thirteen countries operating on the 210 hectare area of the park. They are active in a variety of industries, including automotive, machinery, textile, plastics, construction, trade and logistic sectors, according to the industrial park’s website.
