Hungarian conservative news channel HirTV has launched a weekly women-only political talk show.
The half-hour program, entitled "Címlap" (Front Page) will be aired Monday nights and aims to dissect the previous week's headline news with anchor Kornélia Kis, 888.hu journalist Zsófia Horváth as well as Eszter Párkányi and Zsófia Rácz from conservative think-tank Center for Fundamental Rights.
According to Rmx.news, the first program was focused on a debate between the government and the opposition Socialist party regarding family subsidies and a divide between two leftist opposition parties.
Women continue to be under-represented in Hungarian politics. The 199-seat single-chamber Hungarian parliament has 23 female representatives.
