House Speaker sends condolences to Serbian counterpart following railway station disaster

Fourteen people died and around thirty were injured when a section of the railway station entrance collapsed.

László Kövér has expressed his condolences to Serbian counterpart Ana Brnabic over the railway station disaster that took place in Novi Sad on Friday.

"I was deeply shocked to learn of the tragic number of victims and injured..." the message released on Saturday said.

"On behalf of the Hungarian parliament, allow me to express my sincere condolences to all those affected by the tragedy, to the families who lost loved ones, whose grief and pain we share. I wish the injured a speedy recovery," the speaker wrote.
