Currently on a mission to the International Space Station, Hungarian astronaut Tibor Kapu on Friday fielded questions from reporters and said that witnessing the launch of the Grace spaceship had been "a divine experience".
"Every day since has been a miracle, including when we first glimpsed the Earth," he told a press event organized in Budapest.
Kapu is conducting 25 of the mission's 60 experiments within the framework of the HUNOR Hungarian Space Programme. He said he was "proud of the forward-looking and innovative experiments."
"We would like to continue the programme very much... Space research is a great opportunity for all current and future players of the sector," he said.
