Hungarian athletes have won nine medals, two of them gold, at the European Para Youth Games (EPYG) held in Istanbul.
At the games held between July 21 and 28, 13 Hungarian athletes competed in 5 disciplines. The EPYG drew 650 athletes from 33 countries.
Para swimmer Csenge Hotz won gold in the 100m butterfly and silver in the 400m freestyle.
Milan Kreisz won gold in table tennis in the MS11 category, the statement said.
The bronze winners were swimmer Virag Csenge Janza in 100m butterfly and 100m freestyle, as well as archer Andor Kollar, judo fighter Bendeguz Foldesi, boccia player Gergo Gigacz, and table tennis player Lazar Nyiri-Szabo, who won bronze in doubles with the Spanish Gabriel Diez Alvarez.
