Hungarian chocolatier wins Great Taste Award 2019

A violet, pistachio and red berry-flavored truffle made of dark chocolate by Judit Zala-led Sweetic Chocolate Manufactory was awarded three stars.

A creation by a Hungarian chocolatier has won first place at the Great Taste Award 2019 in London.

Made by Judit Zala-led Sweetic Chocolate Manufactory, the winning sweet earned enthusiastic applause from the jury and audience alike.

The violet, pistachio and red berry-flavored truffle made of dark chocolate was awarded three stars, the recognition resevered for the finest, luxury-quality culinary goods.

The competition is often mentioned on the same page as the Michelin star in culinary circles, with only the finest food and edible good manufacturers applying each year. It marks the first step in Zala’s career as an internationally-influential chocolatier.
