Hungarian Interchurch Aid confirms it will continue to provide aid in Iraq

HIA said its three Hungarian and 20 local employees are safe and their safety was its priority, but the organization intends to maintain its programs helping thousands of families in the Middle East.

The Hungarian Interchurch Aid (HIA) has confirmed that it will continue to provide aid in Iraq, including the area of Erbil which was hit by Iranian missiles on Wednesday.

According to MTI, HIA said its three Hungarian and 20 local employees are safe and their safety was its priority, but the organization intends to maintain its programs helping thousands of families.

HIA operates aid centers in Baghdad and Qaraqos, with the brunt of their work focusing on Kurdistan.
