Hungarian soccer team to face Wales in Euro qualifier

The Hungarian football team faces Wales in the E-group Euro qualifiers at home tonight.

The Hungarian football team faces Wales in the E-group Euro qualifiers at home tonight, without its Italian manager Marco Rossi.

Rossi was banned for one match at the recent 3-1 away victory against Azerbaijan. Rossi’s deputy, Cosimo Inguscio will stand in as coach tonight, like he did in November, when his temperament got the better of him and was banned from the Hungary-Estonia match.

The match against Wales will decide whether Hungary will remain in the lead of the group which they share with Croatia, both with six points after three games. The Hungarian defensive line will miss three injured players (Bese, Kádár and Zsótér).

According to Rmx.news, Rossi is confident that despite him being relegated to the spectators’ area, his deputy will coordinate the team just fine in what he said will be “a very difficult match”.

Wales manager Ryan Giggs said his team is coming to Budapest for points and while the Hungarian national team is not to be underestimated, he hoped that his side’s teamwork will be crucial in securing a good result. Wales is fourth in the five-team group with three points from which two teams will make it to the finals.

The Euro 2020 finals will be played in 12 cities of 12 European countries to mark the 60th anniversary of the tournament.
