Hungary builds relations with Romania

Romania's ambassador met with Dr. István Simicskó, minister of Defence, to discuss military cooperation between the two nations

Romanian Ambassador Marius Gabriel Lazurca has made an introductory visit to the ministry of Defence in Hungary.

The ambassador met with Dr. István Simicskó, minister of Defence, to discuss military cooperation between the two nations.

During their meeting on January 22nd, Minister Simicskó stressed that bilateral military relations between the two countries are balanced and problem-free.

He added that good examples of concrete military cooperation include the joint Hungarian-Romanian peacekeeping battalion, and the annual exercises of the multinational “TISZA” disaster response engineering battalion and biannual air search and rescue exercises.
