Budapest continues to regenerate

The government has revealed that the buildings surrounding Parliament and other key sites are to be renovated this year

Hungary's investment in regenerating the country in the upcoming years as the continued economic success allows the government to reconstruct sites eroded in the past decades.

The government has revealed in a decree that the buildings surrounding Parliament and other key sites are to be regenerated this year.

The area around Kossuth Square and Honvéd Street is set for renovations, along with an underground car park.

The decree also includes the third phase of the Imre Steindl Programme that involves the reconstruction of the Ministry of Agriculture building.

What’s more, a whole section of Vértanúk Square that is located at the Southern part of Kossuth Square will be renovated, along with a few other sites near the surrounding area.
