Hungary will be one of 12 guests of honor at the first Chinese International Import Expo, held between November 5th and 10th in Shanghai, it has been announced.
According to the organizers, the event will include more than 2,800 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 80,000 companies as buyers and over 300,000 visitors.
Figures show that China has now been the second largest importer in the world for nine years, with 10.2 percent of global imports going to the country.
The other 11 guests of honor at the expo include Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa, Vietnam and the UK.
