Hungary hit by minor earthquake

A minor earthquake registering 3.5 on the Richter scale occurred about 11 kilometers from Nagykanizsa, in western Hungary, early Sunday morning.

Hungary has been hit by an earthquake registering 3.5 on the Richter scale, it has been revealed.

The seismology observatory of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences confirmed that a minor earthquake occurred about 11 kilometers from Nagykanizsa, in western Hungary, early Sunday morning.

The Kovesligeti Rado Seismology Observatory said there have so far been no reports of any damages caused by the earthquake which occurred at 2.13am.
